Clean install of Winamp, no other plugins, no other skins, and have not played with the AS settings except for putting my username and password in. It works with the software and their plugin, but I really don't want to be running an extra process just in order to scrobble what I play. And I agree with you about running another process just to scrobble. Do you have "Enable Plugin" selected under Preferences? I've noticed something a bit odd: when I put in my password, then save and open the config window up again, the number of dot characters is longer than the number of characters in my password. Maybe Daz will see this and kindly throw some of his magic at it, if it's fixable and it's not just something stinking in my computer.
Current users with a TV Flash installed can updated to version 4.2 through the Maintenance --I installed Last, FM app today without any problems, however it fails to work when I lunch any of the apps. I am getting a failure notice about ID and Password not correct.
I can logon the web based version on my PC and it works fine, any thoughts?
It provides access to radio, artist bios, artist slideshows and allows you to 'scrobble' plays (including plays from the built-in music player) back to your account.
Was hoping that at least i Tunes scrobbling would be enabled. Currently for Apple TV streams ad-free radio for which requires a paid subscription. I'm running a TVFlash 4.2, and the plugin says "enabled", but the option is not appearing on the menu bar, anywhere. Is there some other plugin or extra that is required to be enabled to get this to work? Despite the fact that ATV froze, how can I start the client in the application folder (Remote HD is available)? Hi James, I have a TV flash and live in New Zealand, for some reason says it's not available in my country for that apple tv but your post says: Update: radio is now also available in: Australia, Canada, Germany, and New Zealand.

I dislike the idea of running separate software constantly just to be able to scrobble my songs, so I don't use the software. For me, it simply made Winamp crash at start until I found the AAAWS folder and ran the uninstall.
I now use AWAAS, which is a script to run with the brilliant Active Winamp plugin. Nevermind that I've been scrobbling, without incident, for some 9 yeras, before the site was even called last.fm!
